Speak Of The Wolf place themselves in between what has been heard before and what is new and experimental. It is up-to-date yet old-fashioned at the same time. Inspired by the simplicity and raw attitude of garage rock, the duo delivers a massive wall of loud, fat and piercing guitars, pounding and swinging drums and killer synth-bass lines, which almost make your ears bleed. But among the wavy beats and tuneful riffs there is still room for the simple and catchy pop melody, which melts into the heavy and groovy background to form the profound expression and particular sound, which is unique for this duo.



Speak Of The Wolf’s lyrical subjects draw upon the thoughts of a fragile mind encountering the ruthless and vicious –and rarely fortunate – love. The songs are intimate and mournful, yet angry and stormful. They relate to feelings we all know. Explicit and honest are these stories of passion, lust and the jealousy that flows from a far too temperamental soul –a soul that doesn’t always want to please its surroundings. Basically, the songs are based on the relationship between you and me.
