Trio Mr. President from Bremen in Germany are: Lady Danii (Daniela Haak, 22), T (Judith Hildebrandt, 19) and Lazy Dee (Delroy Rennalds, 29). The history of group is quite interesting and you have to look back to early '90s and the group called Satellite One who was managed by Jens Neumann.

It happened around 5 years ago when T met Jens. She really wanted to get into his Satellite One group, but Jens didn't like the idea of having at that time fourteen year old girl in the group Well . he did change his mind after he saw how T can dance. She had a reason to do that. T grown up with dance. Her mother was ballerina and T really admired her and always wanted to follow her steps. When T was 5 years old she has been admitted to a ballet school. It was a tough one. If you couldn't pass exams you would be out immediately. She T really likes to perform, she likes to show her talent to the people. At the very beginning of her career in Satellite One, father was not approving it, but when in 1992 this group was climbing up with SAT-1 Serie "The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones", he became a fan of the group and T. You might ans why she is using T as artistic pseudonym. Apparently, before it was T-7. T stands for her big love TECHNO music, and 7 for '70 styles. She like to wear clothes from that period. T-7 was too long name for , so now she is just T. She gained high school diploma but at this moment she does not plan to get highrt education. She already has a lot of work in the group.

Lady Danii has also an artistic background. Both her parents are HARD ROCK artists. Father plays in group called: Living Games. He never had anything against her to get seriously involved with the music. Well. The only thing he was not very happy about, was the fact that Lady Danii was doing TECHNO and DANCE but not ROCK. Father started teaching Lady Danii how to play guitar when she was 8 years old. Meanwhile he accepted the style she was doing. They actually now are using the same home studio to record together. She also joined Satellite One, but later than T. It happened few years ago. She was participating in many dance competitions performing mostly HIP HOP. In one such competition, she met Jens. Somehow she was able to "conquer" his phone number . She was trying to convince him to take her to the group. The "lucky" day happened quite soon. One day a singer from Satellite One got sick and need for replacement emerged. That how she got in. She is not only artists but also can design clothes. She finished designing school and posses the diploma. Both T and Lady Danii are close friends.

Lazy Dee is just a "lazy" guy. He does not think he is lazy, but he admits to be often late. This name was "given" to them by his friends. Originally born in England but parents are from Jamaica. He came to Germany 5 years ago with a Reggae group to do tour. He met Lady Danii and T and now he is with the group.

You might wonder where the name of the group "Mr. President" came from? Quite simply: M stands for MUSIC, R stands for RHYTHM. So they how did end up with name MR. They had a feeling it does not sound quite right. They figured it out that the highest position a human being might get is a PRESIDENT, and that how they came with the name. Interesting isn't it?

As Mr. President they released first album in 1995 entitled: Up' N Away. I don't need to mention that this album was a great success. The title song "Up' N Away" was a huge dance MEGA hit, played widely all over the Europe. Also "I'll Follow The Sun" was a hit but did not have quite same outcome.

Second album by this group released in May 1996 "We See The Same Sun" brought many new hits. "Coco Jamboo" that has been released as a track promoting this album became ultimate hit.Immeditaly jumped high in Dance Charts For detailed review of this track refer to Dance Releases Review Page.Entire new album is a very happy production and contains many tracks that could be potential hits. Most tracks are typical Euro-Dance sound and some of them reminds even ITALO-DISCO (e.g. "Goodbye, Lonely Heart"). This particular track sung by Lazy Dee is quite different from what Lazy Dee does in entire album. Whereas he is mostly RAPING in this track he shows that he can sing HI-ENERGY. Great track. In next track "I Give You My Heart" is already RAPPING, but again the entire track is also good. As you might know now, the dutch group 2 Unlimited went apart. If you liked that group you will like what Mr. President do. As I said the album is very colorful. Next track "Love Zone" puts you also in a TRANCE mode. It is Hi-ENERGY track with elements of RAVE/TRANCE characteristic to RMB for instance. That REGGAE style of "Coco Jamboo" is also present In "Show Me The Way", however in more R&B flavor. Mr. President is in Olympic mood. Their beatiful track "Olympic Dreams" a nice POP song was performed by Classic Italian Dance Style Star Nino De Angelo and a choir of Lady Danii, T, Lazy Dee and supported voices of Caren Miller, Madienne Lang and Marion Schweiger. If you are an ITALO-DISCO lover the track "Don't You Ever Stop" is for you. It is not exactly what the classic ITALO-DISCO was all about, but still is quite close. And again, Lazy Dee shows that his voice can do more than just a RAP. Thanks God! Also TECHNO lovers will find their track. "Love The Way You Love Me" is a mix of TECHNO and RAVE. Could be a sample of this style, that how close it is to this style. Entire album will be a hit, not only because of "Coco Jamboo" but because entire album is good. You have almost EVERY direction of Euro-Dance in this album. The first album of this group did not make in the US and probably this one will not make it too, but if you are in Europe this summer. Get it!

The new trend Mr. President is going for is REGGAE. They want finally cut their DANCE and ACID BEAT roots. "Coco Jamboo" is reflecting the change toward Reggae. I don't know. Not every group survives changes, maybe Mr. President will.
