When the dues have been paid, there’s nothing left to do but collect what’s coming, which is exactly what Mr. Mike aka Mr. Mr. is doing with his new mix tape CD “Redemption.” He’s already known to many, and although he’s been away from the scene for a while, his sound is no less than fresh. Recently during a visit to internet radio station 90.3, DJ K-Nice commented on the flood of phone calls coming in just for Mr. Mike, a record setting amount for the underground radio station. But if you’ve heard any of his music, it easy to see how Mr. Mike has maintained a following over the years.



From former years with Suave House until now, Mr. Mike has managed to hold on to the skills that originally got him into the business. He’s still cold with the pen. He’s still bringing a strong delivery, and even when he’s sitting quietly in a room, his presence is felt. Having worked with some of the biggest names in hip hop like Ice Cube, Eight Ball and MJG, and Trae the Truth, Mr. Mike has a proven track record of successful collaborations that range from one coast to the next. His ability to work alone or with others is just one of the reasons he’s a flexible artist. Lyrics and a sound that attracts both men and women is another.
