Music is a lot of things to a lot of people. As a listener, I find myself often leaning on different soundscapes to guide me to a place I want to be. At other times, it simply amplifies my present state. As an artist, Hip Hop has served as the greatest of all canvas for me. Instrumentals set the tone, as the mind begins to see the unfolding of a story, bit by bit. Although the story is often times mine, some of the more powerful pieces seem to recount the tales of others. Souljahs, who have risen against great odds to not only exist, but flourish. To be given the opportunity to reach people's eardrum's is an honor. One that consistently motivates me to do justice to the opportunity. You are cordially invited to lend an ear.
