Class the KING aka Eric Loftin was born in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, New York. At the age of 5, his father walked out on his mother, leaving the family to survive on their own. Hoping to provide a better life for her children, Class's mother moved to Westbury, Long Island, only to find she did not have the means to take care of them. After going through the adoption system for awhile, Class and his brother eventually moved in with their aunt.

Although his aunts' efforts would keep him directly out of the line of trouble, she could not keep him from witnessing violence and tragedy within his environment. The "drug game", also being a major influence in his life, would also teach him some hard lessons, as he would soon lose his aunt and uncle to it. Struggling to keep a balanced perspective throughout the circumstances, he didn't realize it would be these life experiences that would later be used as a catalyst for him to be able to use in his rhymes.

When Class hit high school - "all the girls in school seemed to love rappers". So, at age 15, he began writing rhymes. At age 16, he joined a rap group with his best friend. They would religiously record - everyday afterschool - all the while sending out tons of mixtapes. They would eventually go their seperate directions to pursue their careers.

Throughout the years, Class' dedication kept strong. He spent most of his summers outside Def Jams office until 2 a.m. From this, he gained Perseverance and TONS of contacts. He got his first break from a DJ named "Dj Onpoint", who put one of Class the Kings' first solo songs - "I Like It" on his "Undisputed" mixtape series. The connections he made through networking, Radio - DJs - Record Reps - and even some of Run DMCs' people, gave him the confidence and inspiration to continue pushing forward.

In a struggle to gain resources to obtain his dream, he made a deperate attempt to get "quick money". He dropped out of college and started selling drugs. While Class was undergoing the stress form the hustle, the "game" almost takes his brothers' life and put his cousin in jail. While the reality of "Cause and Effect" was sinking in, Class realizes the risk was too great and started searching for a more stable and secure means of living. Although he started working a 9-5, he still devoted every free second to his music.

In 2007, Class moves to California with nothing but pure Faith and refusal to give up his dream. He experienced hard times in adjusting. Some of which included him being homeless while sleeping in his car. Through financial and emotional hardships, he figured a way to keep striving and working toward his dream. He allowed nothing to turn him away from his music, and he hopes to be an inspiration to others not to give up their respective dreams.

Class has done shows at Rikers Island, Justin's, Speed, Club Exit, Don Hills, Remote Loundge, and Cllub T-NY as well as shows and arenas in New Jersey, and Massachusetts, and California, opening up for Jaheim, Lloyd Banks, the late Stack Bundles, Chrisette Michele, and Jaz O. He was also granted the opportunity to hit the road with MIMs as his hypeman. Class the King had marginal success in 2008 with a record called "Nickname". His music and story has been featured on hiphopgame, hiphophavoc, yoraps, nobody smiling and the hip hopdx websites. He has been featured on over 100 mixtapes and has been featured in the "Independant Threat" section in Rap Fanatic Magazine.

Class is currently in the studio working on his debut album with production from up and coming talent such as Duke Hazmat, Jae Synth, Vondada, and the Outsyder as well as Marshall Leathers (ching a ling by Missy Elliott) and Amadeus. The 28 year old rapper is is currently burning up the airwaves with his anthem "She Wanna" produced by Duke Hazmat.

You can expect to hear something soulfull, something to dance to, but most of all, he will be delivering music reflecting his pain, suffering, tragedy, loss - and his positive perspective and outcome. This is His Story.
