Moune a Case

One sound, one style, that's the Moune a Case Experience! Multi-ethnic and intergenerational band based in Brussels, that irresistible jazz tropical band has already been existing for more than 20 years!
Resident band of the famous Cuban bar Havana Ché Cafe in Brussels since 2000, Moune a Case means "people from our home" (les gens de chez nous) in Creole. Our inspiration comes from the Caribbean rhythms and classic repertoire.



The leader, Germain (Martinique) has spread his "suave" and smooth sound in all areas, bars and clubs around town. This elegant and sensible man is a great Miles Davis' fan, quite normal for a trumpet player.



The guitarist, Félly (Congo) is an amazing improviser using his instrument like an impressionist. His sound is fruity, juicy and full of colors. They are accompanied by Michel 's funk and groovy bass (France) and Lionel 's beating congas (Belgium).
Moune a Case brings the audience into a travel from island to island. A flavorous trip into the Carribean rhythms mixed with the best melodies from Congo and improvisations inspired from jazz. A terrific combination. a natural way to dance and have a great time.
