Moss Bluff has been working from their Little Armenia treehouse nestled in the alleys between Hollywood and Silverlake since the summer of 2005. Their music spans from their roots in '90s alternative and vintage reggae to folk and experimental noise, like taking a familiar headtrip. Their fans have brought them across the nation on three national tours since the fall of 2007, to SXSW week in Austin, and other festivals each year. Following their growing fan base for their first release "Sharpes Ferry Road" (2008), and a soundtrack placement on Tommy Chong's EVIL BONG motion picture soundtrack ("Ribbons"), college and internet radio have been spinning SFR from the eastcoast to SoCal, the UK to New Zealand.

On January 19th, Moss Bluff's sophomore release, "Boxed In," dropped to CMJ format radio across the US and Canada. Keep your ears peeled for songs from this new indie war-time LP, including "I'll Let the Sun Inside," "Arm in the Sun," and "Wuksachi Monsters."

Recently, Playlist.com featured the guys from Moss Bluff in their monthly Featured Artist section and MusicNation.com recognized the band in a music competition. Tune in to your favorite local college radio stations this winter and spring to hear and request songs from "Boxed In," and catch Moss Bluff live in on-air interviews and performances in your area.
