A Note From Jemeni, Hollywood and Mark
Strong,
For the
last 6 months to a year, we have patiently waited for the
inevitable, setting our sights toward September a package And being able to finally make the leap out of what everyone sees
as a dream job and invest in just living OUR dreams(without that pesky little job part). And yes there will be other
jobs(actually they've been on the table for months). But when your underwear has a hole in it you don't cry when they finally
fall off of you. And if you know it wasn't your fault it was the MANUFACTURER who was messing up the product you let THEM
reimburse YOU!
And so in celebration of the pink slip/new underwear/freedom/and dreams coming true we present the PINK SLIP PARTY!
Because while we were itching to make that move we did LOVE doing our shows, and even though
we're not going anywhere. we will miss you Toronto! Because we want to see you! We'll be the one's wearing pink with the
perma- grins and you can tooFeel free to wear pink in support (guys too), but you don't have to.

Because we hear you Toronto we see the message boards, the emails and the letters and we want you to know that we're ok past
that we're ecstatic! Because its funny!! :0)
Because we know everyone's been through it whether it came as a surprise, or a secret blessing, change is good and for
everyone whose been through the fire (get it? ) and then realized it was the best thing that could have happended we support
you!
Because we want to celebrate that Rich is the owner of two new businesses including the club we're partying in, that Jem is
on stage with Dinner Mint, on TV and has a publishing deal, and that Strong is back on NBA XL with exciting new TV offers in
the works!
Anyone who shows us their letter of termination from any occupation receives complimentary access and a pink drink ticket.
Obviously anyone whose ever been fired from FLOW is good to gone in our VVVVIP! Admission is Jem>$9.35

To our listeners, friends, family & co-workers:
My name is Sean and I was the producer for The Morning Rush on Flow 93-5. I'm sad to report that today (Aug 21st) was Mark & Jem's last day on the air together.
I can't comment on why (I don't know), the station's position (I don't know) or where they're going to end up (I don't know). I'm sure there will be an official press release in the coming days.
I know that both Strong and Jem were a major part of that station and they loved waking you up every morning for the better part of 6 years.
Strong will continue to appear on NBAxl on Raptors TV and Jem has various projects going including video on trial on Much Music. (next episode is in September)
Ruby Jones will continue to be on Flow doing her news in the Morning. And I will continue with the station for the next week until my replacement can be trained. After that I will join Maddog & Billie @ 99.9 Mix FM as their new Morning Show Producer.
On behalf of the entire Morning Rush, Thank you for waking up with us for all these years! I encourage you to send Strong and Jem messages (their myspace profiles are in our top friends)

This is Jemeni (you can also call her Jem.she doesn't mind) Jem has been a mainstay in Toronto radio for almost a decade. A Caribbean girl raised on coconut milk and anansi stories, her parents cushioned her early move to Canada with Saturday morning back home tales. She grew up in Canada and became a mainstay on the Toronto airwaves while going to school. Jem can be found out on the town late at night and by some miracle, in the studio at 5AM!

This is Mark Strong. Call him Strong (over and over if you are of the hot female variety)
Not only does Strong have sexy legs which he tries not to show too often for fear of driving all the womens mad with lust, he's also a nice guy! Strong has many a credit to his name, most notably NBAXL which runs on Raptors TV as well as many other TV credits.
Strong is also a dedicated baby making machine having spawned a half dozen "mini strongs/strongette's" His poor wife is hopefully resting with her feet up! Look for Strong in the dog park, playing with his "Strong spawns", or

Producer Sean is brand spankin' new to the Rush but has been working in radio since he was 16. (no he didn't have much of a social life growing up.) Sean has worked on a number of Morning Shows waking people up from BC to Edmonton to Toronto. He is not a morning person and as a result now has a caffine addiction problem. Sean loves free stuff and invites everyone to send him stuff.

She'll kick your ass on current events trivia and she'll pepper spray your ass if you try to assault her in the streets! Listen for her "Whatever" @ 7:50 and her new poll @ 8:30.
