Roots - The Story
Two dictators with the same thought in
two different places, at the same time, runs into each other by random. They
have seen and striked before on the throne of uncomfortness. Now the time is
here again for a serious reunion after several journeys. Two strong wills turns to one, like two roots in to one new plant. They were searching the
goal, not to be spoken yet, until the whispering came to strong and the name Mordichrist came to there minds and its ment to be spread in aeon.
Mordichrist Biography
*2000 .was the year Antichrist was suppose to
come to earth and dominate the iving, did he came? Did Mordichrist come?Yes! have we dominate? .
Mordichrist start to be a dual member union with one strong will, Nenia and Chaq Mol . With help from Loomroot on drums we became 3. complete.
*2001.We entred the subsonicstudio to record our first Demo "The root of the embryo", wich was written in a cabin far from Stockholm (where we usually are situated) with intoxication of absinthe and a divine-ish will. We got some good reviews , to mension one 6/10 in Close- Up magazinee.c.t
*2002. was the time when "Hatred on Repeat" was created, with same line-up and studio we had on
our first release. Now with harder sound and stronger vocals than the previous release, Nenia and Chaq Mol once again developing their sound.
*2003.Now it was time for our third effort "The Blood
Rise" who was released on our own label Diablo Records. witch was a natural step futher to us, to spread our will in the own regime and under control. A New drummer "Stefan Olsson" joined The Clan.He came from the swedish metal band "Human Rage". And with him sitting behind the drums we found the best drum works so far. We gained many god reviews from magazines and Webzines, and
lots fans who bougth the cd from our website. It was also the year that I (Chaq Mol) replaced Dominion in Dark Funeral as their new guitarist. And with that, Im become a full member in one of the Best Black metal bands out there.
*2004.I (Chaq Mol) was busy with Dark Funeral
this year, so it was a calm before chaos in Mordichrist .But as it always is, and always will be in the Mordichrist clan, It is activity in other levels and forms in the name of Mordichrist .
*2005.We got a new Record deal with Danza Ipnotica Records. Our first official release with Danzais "Mordichrist S/T"10MLP , a summation of the Demo and Diablo records era in one piece of vinyl. we also planned to release a 7"EP trough
Danza this year or in the beginning of next year. We did som interviews and New T-shirts was made by our recordcompany, all in the vein of Mordichrist. The unicursal hexagram in the new meaning was born as Mordichrist signum/seal "As above as belove and in the middle stand Mordichrist stronger than both and all in the between".
We got two new members in Mordichrist clan, Lix Tetrax on bas and Af Dictator on drums(Who was a plastic soul who play drums in a way we newer have heard before or after)
*2006.A new release was made "Dressed In Menace", The first in 3 years. The drummer Af Dictator has left the clan with a kick in his ass, but we are glad that we get a new drummer, A half man A half Machine, Erik Sayenga (ex-Dying Fetus, Witch-hunt, Laceration)) .
The first contact with him was on the road with DF, and I found him as an extra ordinary drummer and had him in my mind for the future plans.We are therfore satisfied to anounce that Hes gonna play on our first full lenght cd wich are gonna be released by Regain Records in the beginning of next year, There we also gained a new record deal.
*2007.We are still working on the new material on the forthcoming full lenght cd debut, the release are therfor delayed! For those who cant get enuff of the clan of Mordichrist, we are gonna participate in a Black Metal Documentaryfilm in the fall of 2007, so stay tuned for more info about that!.
*2008."Mordichrist will partisipate in a Black Metal documentary " Its old news. The new is that the dvd is finished and its called "BLACK METAL SATANICA" Featuring Mordichrist,Watain,Shining,Ondskaptetc.

*2010.New essence of , from and with Mordichrist are brewed in to a bowl of (yet unknown for the masses) elixir of magical occult art to anointing of the sick and celebrate our10 Th anniversary . The salvation are coming!!!!News!!!!! Promovideo: A New Decade!!!!!
