In between creating tracks and co-managing infamous label Bombstrikes, Mooqee can also be found pedalling his genre twisting sound through his party rocking dj sets, as either the headliner or alongside such luminaries as Dj Yoda, Boyz Noize, Krafty Kuts, A.Skillz, Scratch Perverts and Stanton Warriors to name just a few.



His early productions are credited with helping to define the highly acclaimed Bombstrikes sound and through his direction and follow up productions Mooqee has been instrumental in ensuring the label continues to move forward and always stays ahead of the pack. The same energy and quality crosses over into his DJ shows. Which, combined with the label’s success, has helped him rapidly establish himself as the one of the scenes big players.



In addition to his Mooqee and Bombstrikes work, he is one of the people behind the hugely successful Sugarbeatclub nights (alongside Utah Saints). Established in 2001 the night is now held in London, Edinburgh, Leeds, Galway, Bristol and Leicester as well as hosting stages at various festivals. With past guest including Soulwax, Justice, Erol Alkan, Dj Craze, Freestylers, Stanton Warriors, High Contrast and many more. The night continues to expand its reach and popularity, with Annie Mac hosting her Essential Mix live on BBC radio 1 from their Edinburgh night.



With a successful Australian tour and countless shows across Europe the last 12 months has seen him gather some real momentum and things don’t look to be slowing down just yet with a return to Australia and a North American Tour plus more of the acclaimed ‘Bombstrikes presents’ nights in the pipeline. Whether he is rocking crowds at London Superclub Fabric or at huge outdoor events such as Germany’s Fusion he is constantly full of surprises and armed to the teeth with his own edits and remixes to ensure the party goes off. Always un-missable, we think it is impossible not to shake what your mamma gave ya whilst this man is playing.
