Growing up, everything came second to music for North Babylon's Rich Albergo. Coupling that desire with hard work, and mixing in tons of determination, nothing could hamper his longing for a career in music. It also helps when some of your best friends share that desire with you, too.

So technically, Testing for Echo started out as a phone call from, Rich, a very driven guitar player/vocalist, on the dialing end, and longtime friend Antonio Gabriele, as the recipient, also an eccentric musician. What started out as the jamming a bunch of acoustic originals, became playing at open mics, and evolved into recognition from the outside and booking full band shows. And from that moment on, it was clear that the task at hand was to find a supporting cast to compliment the duo's incredible song writing style.

It was then that the band turned to one of Antonio's former bandmates, James Boyle, of West Babylon, a wonderful drummer who was ultimately the perfect person to lend the band his drumming expertise.

Currently, Testing for Echo is employing the skills of longtime friend Eric Mazurkewitz for keyboards and back-up vocals, along with Michael Gaudiello on bass guitar.

Testing for Echo looks to continue to further themselves by playing anywhere, anytime, in front of anyone, so the music can be shared.

Testing for Echo would also like to say thank you to Cameron and Damian Albergo, Andrew Vega, Mike D'Angelo, Alby Rojas, Joe Pizzurro, Pietrina Pizzurro, and Lisa Suter for lending their musical assistance when needed on drums, bass guitar, and violins, respectively.
