FIRST SHOW IN 9 YEARS JUST ANNOUNCED!

Hello from PLANET VOODOO HQ.



After a very, VERY lengthy hiatus, MONSTER VOODOO MACHINE have just announced a Toronto show on Thursday Aug. 9th @ The Fun Haus (Queen St. W. @ Bathurst).



The band have been in the rehearsal room since last winter working on new material and crypt-kicking the cobwebs off of some Voodoo classics. It's still too early to know what the final Toronto show set list will look like - but we can promise you that the set will be about intense volume, violent distortion. and maximum damage.



This won't be a one-off "reunion" show. It's just the beginning of the latest VOODOO-esque horror / sci-fi / mad scientist movie sequel. It's been 9 years since the band last blew up Frankenstein's lab and rocked it under the sawblade banner - and maybe it's the blood in the water, the fire in the skies or maybe the hell on earth, but it certainly feels like the right time to do it again.



The band line-up tearing up the stage this summer is:



ADAM (DOOM) SEWELL - vox

JASON CUDDY - guitar

DARREN QUINN - guitar

TERRY LANDRY - bass

DEAN BENTLEY - drums

VICTOR REBELO (of MUNDANE) - samplers / keys



Yes, this is almost the entire SUFFERSYSTEM line-up back in action again! (Unfortunately, Suffersystem keyboard player Stacey Hoskin is unable to make this show. However, he's lurking in the shadows and I can guarantee that he'll be involved with M.V.M. again at some point in the near future.) Joining us for this show is our very good friend (and former Mundane frontman -and- M.V.M. drummer) Victor Rebelo!



No word on any more shows right now - the band are gonna do what they can - when they can. Also, we'll be announcing the support bands for the Toronto show very shortly.
