Monkey Cup Dress

Monkey Cup Dress (Sidse Holte and Line Felding) is a Copenhagen-based duo playing minimalist pop songs. Plucked and bowed strings, hushed voices, delicate harmonies. Songs that emanate both lighthearted ease and sinister melancholy. Though being Nordic to the bone, Monkey Cup Dress has had its main part of touring in Spain. The debut album is also going to be relased in Spain first, expected late summer 2011, and then in Denmark. The activities over the last 12 months included a support tour for the marvellous Murder, participation in the cooperation between Roskilde Festival and Sony-Ericsson: The Copenhagen X-sessions (www.xsessions.dk), the finishing of the debut album and a tour of Spain.
