Monica Mancillas

Monica Mancillas graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Berkeley, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Socio-Cultural Anthropology. Upon graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the recording arts, and soon found herself working with such clients as Cannibus, Sunshine Anderson, Kurupt, Killah Priest, George Clinton, Laurence Tollhurst, Kool Keith, Interscope, Hollywood Records, and Warner Brothers. Monica released her debut album, "On the Brink", in 2007 and is currently working on her follow-up. Her collaborative production company is scheduled to launch in early 2011. Outside of music, Monica holds a deep love of literature. She wrote her first novel in late 2009 and is currently working on her second.
