Mojo Pojo ofrece música sustanciosa, en constante cambio y dinamismo donde, aparte del rock aparecen visos de distintos géneros como la música venezolana, el jazz y música latina.



La banda se conforma en el año 2004 a partir de una serie de jammins realizados en la bóveda/antro/estudio de Jorge y Luis Daniel González junto a Enrique Pérez (compañero de universidad de Luis Daniel). Su entrega a la música y compartiendo gustos e inquietudes similares, se plantearon trabajar de forma más seria y comprometida haciendo música de manera sincera y sin compromisos. A partir de entonces comenzó la búsqueda de un guitarrista y es entonces cuando Antonio Narciso se une al proyecto.



Después de numerosas presentaciones por todo el territorio nacional, la banda lanza su primera producción discográfica el 23 de Diciembre de 2009, la cual cuenta con la participación de varias figuras importantes a nivel nacional e internacional como lo son: Germán Landaeta (TEMPANO, MOCHUELO, etc.) en la mezcla y mastering del material, Hugh Syme (RUSH, MEGADETH, IRON MAIDEN, etc.) en el diseño y arte del empaque, James Murphy (TESTAMENT, DEATH, OBITUARY, etc.) aportando un solo de guitarra y Julio Andrade (FRANCO DEVITA, etc.) contribuyendo con un solo de saxo.



La banda se prepara para promocionar y girar su disco en este año 2010, así como iniciar las grabaciones para su segunda producción discográfica.

Mojo Pojo’s (unconscious) decision is to make uncompromising music that the listener can relate to. It blends rock with fusion, latin and jazz elements to create a characteristic sound with a venezuelan overtone.



From Caracas, Venezuela, the band began when Enrique started jamming with fellow college student Luis Daniel and his brother Jorge at their dungeon/studio/bar. Having similar musical tastes (ranging form Miles Davis to Morbid Angel), they inevitably got together often and started making the kind of music they liked. At this time and after extensive searching, guitarist Antonio Narciso joins the band.



After numerous live shows throughout Venezuela, the band releases their debut album independently through their own “Angry Pojo Records“ label on December 23rd, 2009, with the help of several national and international personalities such as: Germán Landaeta (TEMPANO, MOCHUELO, etc.) mixing and mastering the material, Hugh Syme (RUSH, MEGADETH, IRON MAIDEN, etc.) on the package’s design and artwork, James Murphy (TESTAMENT, DEATH, OBITUARY, etc.) contributing a guitar solo and Julio Andrade (FRANCO DEVITA, etc.) contributing a sax solo.



The band prepares to promote and tour the album on this year 2010, as well as starting the recordings for their upcoming second album.
