Biographie:
Beeinflußt durch Acts wie S-Express und Rock Steady Crew, begann er 1988 das Interesse an elektronischer Musik zu entwickeln. Anfangs mixte er Hiphouse und Elektrosounds mit alten Tapedecks und Tonbandgeräten, aber schnell entdeckte er die Liebe zum schwarzen Plastik. Seit dem ersten Resident Job als After-Hour DJ, steht er mittlerweile seit über 20 Jahren, als DJ hinter den Plattentellern.
Heute verfügt er über ein riesen Musikrepertoire und kann eine Plattensammlung von über 7000 Vinyls sein eigen nennen. Seine Qualitäten liegen in der audiophonen Experience, aus Speed Mixing und technischen Finessen wie Spins & Cutz und der Kunst, die Dinge auf dem Dancefloor zu erkennen. Er hat ein Gespür für das Publikum und ist mehr als berüchtigt für seine emotionalen Sets. Unter Beweiß stellen konnte er dies bereits auf diversen angesagten Festivals, u.a. Nature One, Love Parade, Ruhr in Love und in diversen internationalen Clubs in Europa, Asien & Amerika. Manchmal mit 3 Decks oder Rane Scratch Live bewaffnet, aber auch mit Effekten und Loops aus Ableton Live, seine Sets sind ein einmaliges Erlebnis.

-1992 bis 1995 organisierte er mehrere Techno & Rave Partys in Lüdenscheid, buchte regionale DJs und machte seine ersten Gehversuche als Veranstalter.
-In den Jahren 1995 bis 2000, war er als Event Manager bei "Plurx-Förderung moderner Künste" tätig, wo er mehr als 100 Veranstaltungen in diversen Clubs durchführte, u.a. Noodles (Köln), Tränenpalast (Berlin), Druckluft (Oberhausen) und buchte Künstler wie Ellen Alien, Justin Berkovi, Oliver Ho, Codec & Flexor und die Computerjockeys.

-Im Jahre 1999 organisierte er einen Floor auf der "Waterworld" und spielte da mit DJs wie Tiesto, Tillmann Uhrmacher und den Acid Junkies.
-In den Jahren 1999 und 2000 veranstaltete er die offizielle "Nature One" Warm Up Party auf dem Camping Village, mit über 10.000 Gästen.
-In den Jahren 2000-2006 arbeitete er im größten Musikhaus Europas, dem "Music Store Professional" in Köln und leitete die DJ Abteilung und war Einkaufsleiter.
-Im April 2004 eröffnete er die "Vestax DJ-School Cologne", welche unter dem heutigen Name "VibrA School of DJing Cologne", mit zwei Locations in Köln und über 250 Schülern, zur größten DJ School Europas zählt.
-Ende 2004 eröffnete er das Tonstudio "Southwest Studio" in der Innenstadt von Köln, wo bis zum heutigen Tage Künstler wie Marla Glen, Reen, Komekaté, Coolio, Eko Fresh, Rick GZ, Angelo Kelly, Patrick Lindsey, Gabriel Ananda, Tocadisco, Marco Zaffarano, Emil de Moreu, Freddy Fresh & Kid Chris zu Gast waren.
-Er startete Anfang 2005 mit der "Modern Music School Cologne", wo musikalische Genres wie E-Bass, Gitarre, Drum, Piano, Vocalcoaching & Gesang angeboten werden.
-Seit 2005 veranstaltete er unter dem Name "Vibraphone" mehrere Partys in den Kölner Clubs Camouflage und Kombinatsklub mit Künstlern wie Gabriel Ananda, Robert Babicz, André Kraml, Danny Dynamic und Mike S.
-Ende 2006 eröffnet er in Kooperation mit Steinberg, Ableton und Universal Audio, ein "Producing Center" in Köln. Dort werden individuelle Workshops für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene angeboten.
-Anfang 2007 gründete er "www.equipment-verleih.de", wo er diverses DJ-, PA- & Licht-Equipment, als Verleihservice anbietet und auch Veranstaltung komplett organisiert und durchführt.
-Seit Ende 2007 betreibt er die Labels "Elektromusikanten" & "Subminimal" Frische Releases gibts nun von Danny Dynamic, Mixmaster Brisk, Hans Klimm Bimm, Mo Digital, Gabriel Ananda, Robert Babicz, Mike S., The Mo, Kidland, André Kraml, Tillman Cremer, Ahmet Sisman, Matthias K., Emil de Moreu, Adame-Z & Sello Green .

Biography:
Brisk discovered his passion for electronic music in 1988 under the influence of acts like S-Express and Rocksteady Crew. In the beginning, he used old tapedecks and reel-to-reel tape recorders to mix Hiphouse, Funk and electronic sounds, but it did not take long until he discovered his love to the “black plastic”. He got his first engagement as an After-Hour DJ 20 years ago and has stood behind the turntables eversince.
Today his strength lies in the audiophonic experience, speed mixing and technical skills like spins and chops and the ability to grasp the vibes on the dancefloor at a glance. He has a strong sense for the audience and is notorious for his emotional sets. He has taken several chances to prove this at popular festivals, including Nature One, Love Parade, Ruhr in Love, as well as in a diversity of international clubs in Europe, Asia and America.
Combining up to three decks, Scratch Live, an FX section and additional Ableton Live Loops, he understands to make his sets a unique event.
