The neo-vaudevillian, the real life Disney villain,
the gin-addled courtesan, the anti-christ of cabaret and the one and only waltzing cynic.

Eccentric to international stages, Joe Black takes to shows in an almost cartoon-esque theatrical assault,
sweeping the audiences through an array of show tunes, ballads, and a rather varied but fine selection of morally questionable entertainment.

Though seemingly unable to fit into any particular category, Joe Black has none the less defied description and taken to the worlds stages -
A glass of wine in one hand, and an utterly ridiculous and inappropriate prop in the other.

Joe Black, or Mister Black, if you'd prefer?
Is no stranger to the ridiculous, the sometimes disturbing, or the downright shocking world of entertainment.
As well as regularly treading the boards of the sell out sensation that is the worlds biggest fetish club Torture Garden (London) and international tours with the critically acclaimed Ministry of Burlesque, he also hosts his own sell out residency in the lavish Edwardian Kings Theatre, in Hampshire.
An entertaining and inspiring cabaret artist, he has been voted a favourite of public and industry alike according to various internet campaigns.
With a constant stream of theatrical endeavors up and down the UK, Europe and internationally.
Joe Black is a well seasoned, and well endowed performer (or so we hear).
From the smokey underground clubs of Paris, to the dimly lit cabarets of Berlin, even to the gloriously esteemed historical treasure that is the British library.

One of the pioneering personalities in new Variety, he is the unmistakable Vaudevillian Villain.

Joe Black is ready to give you a show, that years of therapy couldn't even help you forget.

We're very concerned.

Dear Reader,

I'm one of those ever so elusive, and somewhat reclusive cabaret types
Which means i remain elusive, about being reclusive

It doesn't help in social situations, though it does mean i have lots of time on my hands.
Which i mainly use to attempt to learn invisibility,
or sometimes to draw charming pictures of nuns riding bicycles, to send to my auntie who works in the circus.
She doesn't get to leave the circus grounds much, and she appreciates the finer things in life. Much like those nuns.

It reminds her of times when she could ride a bicycle Back when she had legs.

I often like to imagine what life would be like as a musical,
but then i think.
"would i really want to have someone singing about shopping, while i'm trying to buy my favourite soy based products?"

no. no i would not.

Because frankly. That would just be distracting.

I do hope you agree.

Yours sincerely
Mister Joe Black

PS - Sometimes people contact me. I always wonder why. but if you should feel a need to contact me, like some people do, sometimes, at various point of the day, and at various points in my life.
To perhaps question me on playing your event,
or maybe an interview,
or maybe to ask why i once straddled the queen on a carousel.

I don't mind what you ask.
