Meet "Mista Keyz" born Abel Fernandez, the young man behind the rhythms that are turning heads. Having grown up in Miami, is no wonder his style is so versatile. Production for Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B, Pop, Reggae and Reggaeton music is just one of his many talents. His devotion to music officially started straight out of high school, when he became an alumnus at "The School of Audio Engineering (SAE) in South Florida". Thanks to Eric Foster White CEO of La Mina Records mainly known for the discovery of Britney Spears, Abel commenced his professional career at a young age. The few years in between thus far have definitely supplied MISTA KEYZ with the necessary tools for the next step.



student / teacher relationship with Lazaro Herrera, a one time member of the

multi-platinum boy band "Salsa Kids", helped him develop what he's become today. His versatile ways attract listeners from all types of music. Whether it's Urban, Latin or Commercial the ability to produce for artist from different genres is something he takes pride in. He might just conquer platinum status in more than one category at this rate.



Mista Keyz most recent production credits include Guelo Star from "Casa de Leones", Toby Love, Device, Yan Weynn, JT Money, Desloc from "Picalo", Sien "El Letal" from Terror Squad and Cubo from "Team Pitbull" just to name a few. In 2007 Abel landed his first Soundtrack in the motion picture "Feel the Noise" (SONY BMG and Tri-Star Pictures), a film produced by Jennifer Lopez. The song titled "Espaldota" by Donbi and Device is no. 9 on the album.



The saying is old but never more accurate, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Patience is a virtue and everyday is a lesson in the world of Mista Keyz. He continues to learn industry tactics that only come with years of experience. When he is not in the studio creating hit records he is somewhere enjoying life. His hobbies are working out and boxing. He currently lives in Miami and has a studio in Downtown Miami, Florida
