At the age of 10, twins Susan and Jesse Vasquez showed a passion for singing. In the early age of 14, they developed their musical direction, with influences from diverse styles ranging from R&B, Latin, and Hip-Hop. Transcending their passion for music from hobby to career when manager, Sonia Vasquez heard the girls singing one summer and realized that they had god given talent. Interpreting songs from the great artist/influences of the R&B genre - Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys, and favorites like Latin cross-over artists such as Marc Anthony, Selena, and Aventura, they were more than ready for their big break.



At the of age 19, Susan and Jesse Vasquez have emerged into the urban music industry as Mirror Image. Their sound is melodic and a controlled fusion, a mix of Latin culture and Hip-Hop beats over tight R&B vocals. There’s no stopping this duo! As they experiment with any genre including chart topper Reggaeton. Since 2005 creating the biggest buzz in New York City, they have opened for artists such as Fat Joe, Tony Sunshine, Juelz Santana, and Reggaeton sensations - Calle 13 and Plan B. They have performed their hits songs *Guy Like You*, launched as one of their singles in 2006 and *Y Me Miras La Cara* in prestigious clubs like the legendary Copacabana, The City, and Babalu’s to name a few. They also served as opening attraction for the Universal Soul Circus. In 2007, they sang the national anthem for merengue night at the Shea Stadium, also a victorious night for the Mets who won that game. These ladies are rippin it heavy and are totally not like any other group, they live strong and give back to their community as the official spokes person for The Love Don’t Hurt Campaign, which addresses the signs of Teen Domestic Violence through public speaking and performing effectively getting the message across. They have had their songs air-played in 105.9 (La Kalle) and have appeared in interviews on local radio, television, and print magazines. With their projects completed *We Come For The Taking* and their recent *Double or Nothing*mix cd has occupied regional attention.



Now at the age of 21, they are ready to take center stage and show the world what they’re all about. Mirror Image, is a group with style and musical attitude! There’s no doubt this group will make history!
