Miranda Williams had a premonition at a young age that she would become a radio news reporter of some sort, she had no idea it would be of this capacity. I’m just kidding, I’m writing this from first person so I can’t boast about myself too much. I’m going to give you some info about me that might interest you. I’m from Wyoming, grew up on a ranch 45 minutes from my hometown of Newcastle. Yeah, there are people in Wyoming, one fewer now. My graduating class was 73. When I was younger, I never thought I’d get into radio, but thought I was going to become an Olympic Pole Vaulter. I believe I still hold the record as the highest jump for ladies in my hometown. I went to college on a track scholarship to a small school in Nebraska, but didn’t stay long. My travels let me to Nashville and eventually to my great job at CMT.

My background is in fitness so when I first got to Nashville I was a trainer at a gym and from there I moved into working on Music Videos. My favorite video that I worked on was Blake Shelton’s “Ol Red.” Ok, if you’ve seen the video where the dog is running through the woods at night searching for Blake, the dog, who’s real name is Duke, is running to me as I stood behind the camera calling him. Oh yea, that’s my claim to fame. That, and the fog in the video was all me, I’m a master fog wafter.

Let’s get a couple things straight, first of all, I cheer for the best team in the NFL, The BRONCOS!!!! I don’t really hate any other team except for the Raiders. Sorry Raiders fans! I don’t eat beef although I grew up on a beef ranch in Wyoming. It’s not because I got attached to the poor cows, nope, it’s because it tastes AWFUL! I play the piano in my spare time and I love to ride horses. Also, I cry at everything, Oprah, hallmark commercials, South Park, everything. Ok, not the South Park. I figure this information should give you what you need to know about me.
