Marquis Powell

I was born in the fall, in a mid western city called Minneapolis, MN. The state with some of the coldest winters known to mankind ha ha but not without its most beautiful summers and falls. When I was a kid my family moved to Los Angeles. I'm married and have three beautiful kids. I'm currently living back in the land of 10,000 lakes but consider LA my home away from home.
I can easily say that Myspace has to be the coolest in the world for connecting with new friends. It has become a part of my everyday experience, more than I would dare confess. I love all my fans and I am at awe for all your support and friendship, thank you! There are many sides to me. I am very passionate about my music and making the time to sit and write meaningful lyrics. For life is not only about eating and drinking and making money and then we die. I personally believe God put us here to glorify Him. Apart from Him life really makes no sense at all.
I am very enthusiastic about raising the bar on myself. I exercise daily to stay physically fit whether it's a bike ride in the woods, a walk around the lake or a workout at the gym. I'm also a bit of a risk taker. You are only given so much time to live your dreams. Why not give it everything you've got. I guess that's the middle child in me. I also have a genuine interest in getting to know people and developing nourishing relationships. I look for interpersonal situations even from a business or networking point of view. I love time spent with friends and family. Most of all I cherish going through all that life has to throw at us with the love of my life, my dear sweet wife. She is my soul mate. She is my life.
It's important to always keep growing spiritually, mentally and financially. It's better to be prepared for an opportunity and not have one than to have an opportunity and not be prepared. I am very open to working with other professionals in the entertainment industry, churches and concerts. I believe it's possible to go further faster with the right connections.
