MINDFOOL

Mindfool, which was formerly known as SADSAK in 2002 with members Philamuel (now of Indephums), Dennis Daniel, Daryl Daniel and Dale Ramirez. They played for a short while during school events and music programs throughout highschool. A year after, SADSAK was disbaned due to misunderstandings towards members. They then decided to form a new band - Mindfool last 2003 with members Jhong (Frontman), Dennis Daniel (Frontman), Daryl Daniel (Bass), Jason Yu (Turntables), Philamuel (Guitars), Ryan (Drums) and Reynolds (Percussions). Mindfool played Nu-metal music with their last performance for that line-up at the Students Night of USJ-R.

Numerous member changes were encountered by the band and most significantly, a struggle to fill in for drum duties. Later on, they decided to let Philamuel fill in for the drums and Dennis to play the guitars. This lasted from 2004-2005.

They released an E.P.in 2005 [Self-titled,Independent], with Cesario playing the drums. They played most of their gigs in Gambaru under Adam's (frontman for Pointblank) production event. After a few gigs, Bao (frontman for Pointblank) decided to let them play under Skinny Buddha Productions.

By late 2005, they lost communication between their drummer. Nix (Ex-Campbell) then joined the group and made progress with their music which can be described as faster, double bass, melodic sound which evolved to Metal/Hardcore. Timothy (Figure8) then joined the group to fill in as rhythm guitars. Since then, they started playing in various production events such as Skinny Buddha, Harakiri Mosh & S.R.A. By mid 2007, Jhong became busy and pre-occupied with work and decided to leave the band. Xciao joined the group and filled in the spot as vocals.

Moving forward, they released a split E.P. with Sillhouette last 2007. For 2 years, Mindfool continues to progress through their music and brings their name to new and greater heights. Up until now, they have never given up on their ambitions and have continued playing music for their fans and for the crowd in the Cebu underground music scene. They have stood their ground towards their roots.
