Fresh from the notoriously dangerous streets of Edmonton, North London, comes "9 Milli Major" a fresh faced energetic emcee destined for success. He was nicknamed "Major" before he turned fifteen years old because of his authoritative nature. With a large amount of his family already being involved in the entertainment industry, such as his Dad and uncle working along side Guy Ritchie in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and his cousin Paper Pablo playing the lead role in Dice Recordings’ "London State Of Mind" movie, it’s not surprising that this young artist has recently found his way into the lime light. Major started emceeing from a young age, performing with local groups, Cold Blooded and the infamous Meridian Crew. Only 20 years old, Major Man has a lot to offer to the scene with his diverse and versatile lyrics; he is known primarily for the powerful hardcore messages in his music. He has an easily identifiable loose, easy flow with a talent for piling multiple rhymes on top of one another in quick succession. Major affluently mixes autobiographical details about crime and violence with emotional honesty creating vivid visual and aural imagery for the mind to reflect upon (i.e. his bars are VERY DEEP).



Major has a long established reputation on the underground scene. His music and non-compromising lyrics reflect the environment he grew up in. Rather than follow the majority of emcees arising from the underground who boast about brandishing knives and weapons constantly, Major actually prefers to talk facts saying, "I might talk about guns and murders, but that’s only because their both involved in my environment; part of my harsh reality. One of my closest friends died when I was 17 from a single stab wound to the heart. I’m not glamourising it; I’m informing my people of the struggles and consequences associated with that life style, which isn’t actually portrayed properly by the media! If I lived in a castle with a rose-garden and fairies flying around, you could be sure that would be the basis of my lyrics!"



Already being a Co-CEO of the Bloodline Music Group, 9 Milli Major has recently released his debut mix-album "Pray For Me". The CD consists of a variety of well known producers and artists as well as the remaining four faces of Bloodline: Paper Pablo, Big H, Bossman Birdie & President T. With Paper Pablo as the chosen host due to his natural charisma and swagger (flair) on the microphone, 9 Milli Major delivers a wide range of tough lyrics and cold flows as he paints an imaginary picture in your mind. Major’s lyrical topics and themes on "Pray For Me" include gangster tales ("We Does Dis"), life in London's capital ("Concrete Matrix"), materialistic bragging ("Street Life"), as well as his dedication to music ("Mind Games") and ghetto romance ("Dirty Di"). The contradictory themes of social inequality and injustice, compassion, unrestrained aggression, youth violence, gang culture, and hope also help to shape Major’s work into a compelling masterpiece of musical artwork.



With his solo debut mix-album "PRAY 4 ME" completed and released digitally, Major has been hard at work in the studio on his next project Keep Prayin’ with the likes of various emcees and producers such as Lewi White, D’explicit, P-Jam, DJ Scholar, Spider Beats and many, many more.
