Mike Krum's voice is what you come to hear. Whether it is the way he sings it, or what he is singing about. The stories and melody, while not reinventing the wheel, make you glad you have taken the ride. His former life as an English teacher taught him the stories and a life of playing music has taught him how to perform it. In the last 2 years, he has taken to NY. He has played at The Mercury Lounge, Bowery Ballroom, Highline Ballroom and Webster Hall with The Toadies. He toured the west coast from San Diego to San Francisco and finished the run at the Playboy Mansion for a US Doctors for Africa benefit. He has also toured Ireland from Drogheda, to Belfast and will return there this fall.
The New record, written over the last 6 months is now being performed entitled, "You Are Genuine." This past February, Mike Krum recorded a new song everyday in tandem with a video he shot and directed for 28 days straight. An impressive feat, and yet more impressive live.
