right at home in front of a big audience. In fact, he started his stage work

as a stand-up comedian at the age of 9 (yes NINE) at Manhattans Caroline's Comedy

Club and The Gotham Comedy Club in New York City. He

has appeared on numerous national and local television shows including GOOD

MORNING AMERICA, VH1, NICKELODEON, INSIDE EDITION, NYC KIDS TALK RADIO, WB11,

to name a few. You can also read about him in NEWSDAY, THE NEW YORK TIMES,

THE NEW YORK POST and a feature article in NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC WORLD. He has

done numerous benefits such as A CURE FOR CANCER, STARLIGHT-STARBRIGHT FOUNDATION

FOR HUMANITY played a sold out Weststock Benefit to help the crisis in DARFUR, organized eight food drive benefit concerts during the summer of '07 to contribute to LONG ISLAND CARES and is performing to benefit the HUNTINGTON ARTS COUNCIL.

He has performed at well known venues such as EDDIES ATTIC in Georgia, THE

HANDLEBAR in South Carolina and can often be found playing his tunes at THE

BITTER END in NYC. He was also one of the selected few to be chosen to play

at THE MILLENNIUM MUSIC CONFERENCE 2007 and THE FMFB FESTIVAL 2007. At age

17, he was the youngest featured performer to be heard on ACOUSTIC CAFE LI,

the number one acoustic podcast on itunes. He was also featured numerous times as artist of the week at THE LONGTOWN PODCAST and has been heard on many radio stations. His song, Pressure Crack was the winner of the July 2008 X-GAMES in California and played during the competion.

Because

of these experiences, he feels as comfortable performing for hundreds as he

does in front of an intimate coffee house audience. Currently, Mike is writing for television and film. You can see some of his work at www.etchedinmetal.com

After many years of being a dedicated drummer, he decided that he wanted

to write songs and taught himself how to play the guitar. His training on the

drums has given him a profound understanding of rhythm and musicality. Though

he has eclectic musical taste, Mike's strongest influences include Dave Grohl,

John Mayer. Mike offers a fun show bringing together his refreshing

sound, genuine charm and funny observations as he plays his acoustic guitar

and sings songs about love and life through the eyes of a twenty year old

with insight beyond his physical years. Mike always has something new to bring

to the stage, whether it is his creative approach to songwriting or just a

passing joke in between songs, he always gives his audience something new to

talk about and a reason to connect with him on a personal level.

Mike Jason's 4 song EP was produced by the talented EREN CANNATA (Brie Larson,

Tommy Mottola's Cassablanca Records) and executive producer RICHIE CANNATA

What people are saying:

JASON BLUME who is one of the few songwriters to ever achieve the distinction

of having his songs on BILLBOARDS Pop, R&B, and Country charts - - all

at the same time. With his songs recorded by pop superstars Britney Spears,

the Backstreet Boys, and Jesse McCartney as well as country stars including

Collin Raye, the Oak Ridge Boys and John Berry, Blume's songs are included

on albums that have sold more than 50 million copies! Jason told a 17 year

old Michael, "YOU'RE A TALENTED WRITER AND ARTIST WITH A DISTINCTIVE VOICE.

I WISH I HAD YOUR TALENT WHEN I WAS YOUR AGE."

DAVID DIRCKS, host of AcousticLI, the nations No.1 acoustic podcast: "Our

youngest performer ever, Mike is a multi-talented singer/songwriter who taps

into a wisdom beyond his physical years. He is a solid songwriter who just

happens to have a great voice, just happens to be a fluent guitarist and just

happens to be a seasoned drummer and percussionist. Is there anything this

boy cant do?"

KAREN BERGREEN, stand-up comedian seen on Comedy Central and MC at Caroline's

and Gotham Comedy Clubs: "I first met Mike when he was ten years old.

I was stunned at each show by his comic material and his performance skills.

He is energized by developing new material from show to show and never rests

on his laurels. He is blessed with both stage presence and likeability."

GRACE HA, The Roundup: "High school senior Mike Jason stirringly muted

the room with his calm, harmonious songs, Shooting Star, and Poison Angel,

which earned him tides of standing ovations from fans."

Mike would like to add the following:

"I want to thank my amazing family for all of their unwavering support, love and endless laughter, David Dircks for making the greatest podcast on the web, my drum teacher Bopa, and my singing teacher Donna Lipari. A big thanks to some of my incredible myspace friends, ALLY and LAURA who travelled all the way to NY to visit me! And thank you all for checking out my page and listening to the music. I hope there's something in it that everyone can enjoy."
