Mike Clarke

I am Mike Clarke. Welcome to the M.I.N.D. Management page. I manage Artist and consult labels. I got my start in the business by owning a record store. After that I began to manage DJ Michael “5000” Watts. I then went on to become the Senior Vice President of the Swishahouse. Now it is time to spread my wings and try to run my own company again.



I manage DJ Michael “5000” Watts, DJ Wildhairr, C-Muthaphuckin Wiz, Tum Tum, The TBG’z, Mash Mode and Big E. I would love to take on more clients in the future but right now my plate is full. Any free time I have is spent at the Swishahouse or TF Records.



I would love to answer every email that comes to be but sometimes the workload just doesn’t allow for that. I get to most of them but I cannot get to all of them. The most common question is, “ How do I get signed?”. So let me give everyone some free and basic advice. If you are trying to get signed you have got to have a story to tell. It will go a long way if you have your single hot in your own market before you try to take on the rest of the world. You have got to find a way to get your song played by local DJs in the Club, Strip Clubs, and on Mix CD.



I would also love to visit all the pages from Artists who have taken the time to post their music on Myspace. However I cannot. Again, my daily workload does not allow me that luxury and I do not sign people to the labels so it would be pointless. I truly hope that all of the Artists on Myspace who hit me up will one day find a way to make their dreams come true.



The best advice I can give all of you is to humble yourself and stay on a grind. If you meet one person that tells your song is not a hit, smile and keeping working hard. If everyone tells you that it is not a hit go back to the lab and try a little harder.
