BLIZZ MONEYBAGZ

Brandon -Blizz Moneybagz- Pride was born on August 11th, 1985 in the small, then gang riddled city of Elyria, OH. Raised by a single mother he took onto his older brothers Terrence -T- Pride and Marius -Mo P- Pride as father figures in his life. He fell in love with music at a young age as a result of shadowing his brother T, riding shotgun enthusiastically everywhere his sibling ventured, head nodding to such artist as Craig Mack, Redman, 2 Pac, Dr. Dre and Wu-Tang Clan to name a few.



As Blizz got older and entered high school he began to dabble with the concept of hip-hop. At 16 in his junior year of high school Blizz became an athlete on the Varsity Track Team at Elyria High School, where he would freestyle playfully with a circle of friends on and off the track. Blizz graduated and then attended college at Kent Sate University for a year. There his love for the music only grew and expanded as he watched independent artist Blitz grind and hustle his way to success. A performance by The Clipse at the 2003 Flash Fest only pushed him closer to the dynamic emcee that is Blizz.



It wasnt until September of 2005 that Blizz began to take rap as a serious venture. At that time he joined up with The Kream Team a group of fresh young talent based out of the same city that consisted of another emcee Brandon B-Ease Ammons and rapper/ producer Mike S. Nice Vines. With Kream Team his flow developed and matured. In January of 2006 Kream Team took a short hiatus. Blizz kept writing and through a mutual friend hook up with local mixtape powerhouse Cypha Inc. There his mic presence got stronger and Blizz began to make waves in the local circuit with the release of A Hustlers Anthem, a debut mixtape with the lyrical quality of a seasoned verteran. Now, Blizz is the newest member of Propain Campain, headed by formal Purple City member Agallah. Being the only Propain Campain member from the midwest area Moneybagz is concidered to be the "MIDWEST REP" of Propain Campainenhancing Agallah's pioneer hard hitting NYC style with a midwest swag Blizz Moneybagz is flooding the streets world wide. With rap as his main focus he brings a dangerous sound that is a mixture of his biggest influences. Elaborate punch lines and wordplay riddle his flow and is felt word by word. Look for this talent to only grow and break out to the frontline.
