Due to the way the industry and the market operate, Jazz and Blues music will never be in the mainstream. But a lot of people are into music that is deeply influenced by the blues, wether they think of it or not- everything from the Beatles to Metallica. I like to tell people about my singing heroes, people like James Carr and ZZ Hill, and my guitar heroes, like Johnny Winter, Albert Collins and Otis Rush.
