I was born in Genova (Italy) in 1983 and I started playing guitar when I was seven.
I grew up as a self-taught player, studying and learning the techniques of many of the world's most talented guitar players such as Joe Satriani, Andy Timmons, Steve Vai, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Steve Lukather, Frank Gambale and many others. I work in my recording studio in Genova where I also hold private lessons.

In 2010 I started working on my first solo CD at the Reel Texas Studios/Mudd Sound Production in Dallas, Texas, and in my recording studio in Genoa, Italy. It will mainly be instrumental rock music and it will include "New Day", "Texas Ride", "Over the Cloud" as well as "Heartland".
I play with Gianni Serino, a very famous bass player all over the world, he played with Ian Paice, Peter Erskine, Rodney Holmes, Lou Reed, Stu Hamm, Omar Hakim, Jeff Berlin and many others.
In winter 2012 I toured in Europe with a Deep Purple Tribute Band and in two of the shows I played live with Ian Paice and once also with Roger Glover.
Always in 2012 I played with the great keyboard player Ernesto Ghezzi (Eros Ramazzotti, Zucchero, Ornella Vanoni, Deep Purple, Gotthard and many others).
I have been playing with my band "Michele Cusato Band" since 2005. Ivan D'Ercole on Bass and Luca Brunetti on Drums. With this band, founded by me, I opened the Scott Henderson live show at Sori Jazz Festival 2008.
I have also played with X-Press with a Jazz/Fusion repertoire. Again on the occasion of Sori Jazz Festival 2008, with this band I opened the concert of the legendary drummer Peter Erskine.
I played in Stars Band, this Band takes its name from the many live shows held with famous Italian "Guest Stars", such as: Umberto Smaila, Franco Oppini, Ugo Conti, Fiordaliso, Andrea Roncato, Maria Teresa Ruta and many others.
I'm working on various music projects in USA. I am working with Mitch Stewart from Circle II Circle, taking part to his project "Never Kings" started out with fellow band members, including the famous Zac Stevens, voice of the American heavy metal band Savatage.
I took part to "Bugz" CD produced by Frank Henicke in Austin, Texas.
Many American DJ's introduced me to various American radio stations, through which many of my songs are heard all over the world
