DISEASE

Born in the october of 1994 by Flavio and Massimo Tempesta , Disease are involved from 14 years in the italian metal undergorund playing extreme music with some , different influencies .
In 1995 they released their first demotape "Dark hearth behind" raw old style but melodic thrash-death influenced by Slayer , Morbid Angel ecc.
After some gigs Disease started to write new material and in the summer of 1996 they released their second work , a promo of two songs that was enthusiastically rated by magazines , fanzines and metal fans. After other problems with members and new line-up changes , the band started to insert new music influences out from the tradicional way of death-thrash . New prog and melodic part were added , mixed with extreme metal and techinical parts : riff work became more complex, the voice alternated clean parts to growls giving to Disease a new musical identity which actually characterizes the group.During september 1997 Marco Mastruzzi (guitar) entered in the band . In the summer of 1998 Disease released "ADVTIXVIII" that changed definitely their musical prospective trying to destroyed all the barriers of genres : mixing extreme metal parts with melodies and progressive arrangments . In the 1999 new important line-up changes transformed the face of the band : Leonardo Orazi became the new bassist and after a long search to find a good vocalist in 2001 Flavio decided to take the role playing guitar and singing at the same time .
After a lot of lives and a home-demo never released (recorded in the october 2001) the band started to compose the new material for their first album "5th wave , endless".
In 2004 Disease released "Burning memories - demo coll. 1995-2001" a retrospective for their 10 years anniversary of activity in the metal underground :the cd compilation that includes all the demos of the band raised a good feedback in the underground and helped the band to join Deadbang record that produced their first album "5th wave , endless" , released in May 2005 : The debut album was more complex and complete than the old released material for a perfect integration of extreme metal fury , melodic , progressive parts and a multicolour voice between extreme screams/growls and melodic clean vocals .
The band started to support the album with shows : they played with some italian underground band and in the spring od 2006 was the opening act of the gig of Sadus & Darkane in Rome .
In the summer of 2006 the band played at the Mostra dei Mostri fest in Cellino Attanasio (with Extrema , Infernal Poetry , ecc) where they recorded their performance released in the 2007 as a free bootleg , you can find it on www.diseasemetal.it on the download sez. .
In the spring of 2008 the band re-recorded 3 old songs from their 1998 "ADVTIXVIII" re-arranged in the way of their actual musical direction : with the supervision of Joseph DiPorto on the mixer , the band recorded the 3 track absolutley live trying to combine all music in a unique suite of 32 minutes full of some different atmospheres and contrasts . The result of the hard work ( infinite thanks to the patience and to the talent of our brother Joseph) is called "A circular decade in motion " and will be release in september / october 2008.
