Born in the soulful city of Philadelphia, Mera emerged on the underground music scene with his first album "Reincarnated Street Soul". The album was a blend of Hip-Hop, Jazz& Soul. This was the first time his lyrical finess was encountered. After promoting and selling 10,000 units independently, with the successful release of his first album, Mera landed a role in the well known Off Broadway Production "Plantanos & Collard Greens". During his 2 year US tour with the theater group, Mera was inspired to write and produce his second album "All In Me". This release sold 10,000 units as well. Two years after his 2nd release, Mera was encouraged yet again to bring his eclectic energy back to the streets, with his new release Love,Life& Light. Mera explores his Philly roots with soul and pure hip hop. Not only does music inspire him, but acting does as well. You can still catch him in the hit play "Plantanos & Collard Greens" and the new play "Auction Block to Hip Hop".
