SUE MELKE: CEO of the Melke Music Group
Sue Melke has been involved in the Australian and International Entertainment industry for 24 years in the areas of Marketing, Music licensing, Publicity and Promotions, Artist and Tour Management, Special Events and Corporate Sponsorship.
Melke entered the Australian and International Film industry working as the National Publicity & Promotions Manager for one of the most recognized art-house film groups in Australia, working first hand with actors and directors including Academy award-winning Helen Mirren and Colin Firth, directors Kenneth Brannagh, Mike Leigh, Jim Jarmusch, Spike Lee and Wim Wenders, to name a few.
Two years later, Melke was at the helm of her own organisation working on artist publicity with major and independent Australian record labels. In 1992 Melke designed and implemented cutting edge below the line campaigns for brands including Southern Comfort and Kahlua which saw the inception in 1993 of Melke – Marketing With Music. The company offered services in the area of music licensing and branding, affording the corporate arena opportunities to align their brands with music industry artists and events. To this day, Melke is recognized as one of the most innovative boutique agencies in the area of this niche marketing service for the corporate arena.
In 2003, Sue Melke began investigating global business opportunities with a view to cultivating The Melke Music Group. Committing to a work base in Los Angeles, Melke began a four-year R & D program to build the foundation of the group with an emphasis on recruiting the Key Team Members. The experienced, award-winning management and consultancy team boasts internationally recognised personnel in the areas of Marketing, Music Licensing, A & R Creative Direction and Music Publishing, Music Production, International Touring, Sponsorship, Artist Management & Legal & Business Affairs.
As executives, the individuals that make up The Melke Music Group have produced projects that have topped the Billboard’s Charts and earned Grammy Awards, while selling millions and millions of copies worldwide.

Diana Rouvas has always embraced music as a way of life. At the age of 17, Diana joined the multi ARIA award-winning Tina Arena on backing vocals on a tour of France, where she performed to capacity crowds at the legendary Olympia Hall. Diana has been invited to represent her home of Australia at the Annual Australia Week G’day LA Celebrations held in Los Angeles, and more recently in New York, celebrating US achievements by Australians including Mel Gibson, Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett and Olivia Newton John.
Wielding masterful poetic and soulful integrity, Diana Rouvas is bewitching in live performance mode. This 23 year old singer-songwriter’s sound is home to the tenacity that was the music and recording industries of the 60s and 70s. The time when songs were ‘real’ songs and singers were ‘real’ singers.
Earlier this year, Diana recorded some new material with legendary soul-funk band Rufus (Bobby Watson – bass, Ricky Lawson – drums, Anthony Patler – keyboards/guitar, Roman Johnston - piano/keyboards) . The tracks were recorded live at Track Records in Studio City, Los Angeles and produced and mixed by LA based Eve Nelson (Chaka Khan).
