more positive than the standard, in its ironic interpretation and in a sense closer to that of carpe diem. Each individual must in his or her lifetime acknowledge mortality and that time is not an ally – never does one know

when the reaper will strike. Therefore, it is only logical that we should enjoy

our lives fully, live to our potential and be as creative and
