Melanie Flash

ABOUT ME:



Dance/Pop Music Artist Melanie Flash has performed as a studio session

singer in the U.S. and Canada for the last 10 years. Melanie is a member of

the Gold and Platinum selling cardio fitness group K2 Groove. She has also

landed a part with the "Little People" from Fisher Price as two of the lead

voices.



Melanie Flash grew up in a very religious home. A life in the

music/entertainment business was surely not a place for an innocent and

upstanding young woman. Melanie's family however realized her beautiful

singing voice and accepted the fact that her God given talent should not be

denied. They reluctantly let Melanie pursue her dream only if she attended

university.



Melanie Flash began to develop her craft by singing to her favorite bands

and artist. She would record her own voice for countless hours trying to

perfect what she heard as well as develop harmonies. Melanie caught some

breaks and by the age of 18 Melanie had become the "go to" girl for backup

vocals in Canada and the U.S. for many major record labels and their new and

successful artists. At the same time she completed her B.F.A. from the

University of Toronto in music.



All of this recording experience helped Melanie achieve the musicianship

that she always dreamed of. Now, Melanie is ready to explode into the music

scene as a solo artist and conquer the dance world.



Her new single was collaboration between Melanie and 3 renowned producers

and writers. Stephen Singer, and the producer of the world famous group

Groove Coverage Axel Konrad and Verena. The combination of these elements

created a song called "Halfway To Heaven". This will be Melanie's first

single scheduled for release this Fall. With an energetic fist pumping dance

mix, and a beautifully sung and produced candlelight mix. This single will

be a welcome add to every radio programmers play list.
