In 2006, Megan's strong finish in the Top 40 finalists on American Idol Season 5 propelled her into millions of American homes and onto the Hollywood music scene. Megan's bright smile, refreshing charisma, and strong, sultry voice thrust Megan past 200,000 contestants to land her firmly in American Idol's Top 25. This national success and major network TV/media exposure led to powerful stage performances at some of Los Angeles's most famous music venues including The Viper Room, Whiskey-A-Go-Go, The Cat Club, The Mint, and The Derby. Megan has been nominated for several Los Angeles local music awards such as "Best Female Vocalist" for the 2010 L.A. Music Awards, SouthBay Music Awards, and RockCity Awards. Megan's passionate voice, emotional sound, and solid songwriting skills connect her to all audiences.
In 2010, Megan recorded and released the independent album - Let It Out CD with rock/soul band Neverwonder. This album has received positive reviews including being published in the national publication- Music Connection Magazine. Armed with a powerful voice that has the potential to cross over into multiple radio & retail formats (think the edge of Pink meets the soul of Tina Turner) and an electric stage presence, Megan has unstoppable talent. She is currently in pursuit of work with new and diverse musicians, producers, and shopping a major label deal to take her career to the next level.
