Meech, a seventeen year old MC who rose to fame with the debut single "Thicka Than A Snicka." is set to take the music industry by force.
Born in Minneapolis, he solidified his aggressive performance skills with dozens of shows at the famed hip hop club Red Sea in his hometown starting at the age of just 9 years old. He's shared the stage opening for acts such as Lil' Jon, Ying Yang Twins, Master P, KRS-One and more across the country.
The young phenom was discovered by west coast legend Fingazz (who is executive producing the album and just scored a Top 10 single with "Lean Like a Cholo"), while "Thicka Than A Snicka" was produced by Brian Kennedy (Ciara, Jesse McCartney, Menudo). Meech immediately adapted "Thicka Than A Snicka" as his own, writing the verses and using the phrase with his friends while "girl watching" in Los Angeles where he's currently living.
Meech has recorded over 100 songs to date and is featured on KeKe Palmer's single, "Keep It Movin,'" as well as Chrishan's single "Trick Look At Me Now."
Meech, who counts Nas, Lil' Wayne and Jay-Z among his influences, has the MC skills to appeal to an audience beyond his years and still remain relevant to his generation.
