"Meatball" was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, he got his nickname from an (aunt) as a baby!! she said "He's chubby like a fat Meatball". Music played a big part of his life, His farther "Garren Develle Hodge Senior" was a local D.j who did parties all over Chicago in the 80's. His love for music came at an early age, His mom "Valarie Cain" discovered he knew every song that came on the radio, and could rap them better than the artist. when Meatball was eleven he wrote his first rap, So his mom decided to get him a "karaoke machine". Meatball found his love when he performed in the 6th grade talent show and got a standing ovation, for doing a song he wrote about the school. from that point on he knew it was his destiny to be a Entertainer.
