The Meantraitors are an outstanding example of Russian psychobilly music. The band started in 1989 in St.Petersburg, Russia. The band already exists for 11 years and has perfomed in Russia : St.Petersburg, Moscow, Rostov, Novgorod, Ekaterinburg, Tiumen, Viborg and more Ukraine : Kiev, Simferopol, Rovno Estland : Tallinn Finland : Tampere Germany : Berlin, Hamburg, Essen, Munchen, Frankfurt, Cologne and many more. The band has also played on many festivals : DDT-97 (St.Petersburg, Sporthall "Jubileyniy") - nominated as "the best band" Nevskiy Desant 1,2 (St.Petersburg, Petropavlovskaya Fortress) Vivat Russia (Moscow, Red square) Munich Psychobilly Fest (Munchen, Chaterhalle) Rock'n'Roll Jamboree (Tampere, Aitoo) and more The several names the band has played together : Demented Are Go, Mad Sin, Batmobile, Guana Batz, Klingonz, Restless, Frantic Flintstones, Long Tall Texans and many more. 2 songs of the band were taken as a sound track of the movie Dear world Swiss company Insert films and musicians were also acting for several parts of the film. The band had released 6 full-lengh CD's & one mini - CD "Grim Rock". Last album "Guts For Sale" just came out in Japan on Downer records.
