Gaelic and Guinness isn't all there is to come out of the Green country. Popping a cork and spraying honest lyrics and hip hop to London is LiSa DeE's refreshing blend of bold rhythms and realism.
"I remember been 4 years old singing in my back garden in Dublin, that is where my musical journey began," recalls Lisa. "In Ireland we have great rock bands like U2 and The Script, we need hip hop acts and I really want to get my music out there," says Lisa. "A lot of people find it odd I rap because I am tiny, can be quiet, wear skinny jeans and I am Irish, they expect me to sing. "At the age of 10 I started to rap and it just felt like the right thing to do I guess," recalls Lisa. "Hip Hop does not always have to be tough you can still put your heart on the line. "I am currently writing songs about loneliness, sadness, happiness, heroes, heartbreak, love and crossroads that we all face in life. "For the next project it will be my most honest work, I want to open up you know, really wear my heart on my sleeve, it is what an artist should do. "I cannot wait to start recording again as I understand life a bit more and I am getting stronger as an artist.
