Mikael Jo Pugh has always been known under an array of nicknames, including but not limited to; “Kay”, “Kells”, “Kelly”, “Sweetz, &“Prozac”. (The list goes on & on).



She was brought into this world by her mother, Wanda Wells-lifetime country singer, and father, Paul Pugh-singer/songwriter/and band musician on October 5th, 1983.



Her whole up-bringing was based around music of all sorts. She had been blessed to be included in many of her parents’ musical ventures & opportunities with bands, shows, and church events as well.



Mikael has always had a serious passion for music & has always wanted her role in life to be musically-oriented. From her childhood, Mikael looks back to being in the choir at church, being the only person able to sing 2nd soprano. She even thinks back to her high school days, writing songs in her class notebooks.



She became heavily involved in her music her junior year in high school when she discovered that not only can she sing beautifully, but she was quite the lyricist too. Many of her friends had doubt in her, because she was always known to sing, but to rap as well, seemed like a gamble. Mikael felt the need to prove herself early on, just for those friends * foes whom had doubted her, giving herself plenty fuel to keep the lonely flame going.



Years have passed, and Mikael is obviously still in the ranks. She has been in shows, and showcases, and loves to be center of attention & feels like the only place she really belongs in is the spotlight. Don’t misunderstand her-Mikael is very down-to-earth. There is not one drop of conceit in her blood. She has been through hell & back, and knows what it is to be at the bottom of the ladder, looking up at everyone else. If any stardom is gained by her-It is all EARNED from her hard work-ethic & talent. She has said many times that nothing has ever been handed to this young lady, & her striving to earn it herself gives her right to own it.



Mikael plans on furthering her hopes & aspirations to become a major recording artist well-known & loved for her real-life experiences & dreams. Keep this young gal in your prayers as she braces herself for the journey of a lifetime.
