IN 1999 THEY STARTED A 4 PIECE GROUP CALLED "FENG SHUI!!"

WENT TO NUMEROUS STUDIO'S MEETING UP WITH DIFFERENT PRODUCERS,

RAPPING AND LAYING DOWN IDEAS ON THE WEAKEST PRODUCTIONS EVER!!!

GOT MAD AND THOUGHT "HOLD ON, WE CAN DO THIS OURSELVES, WHY WE RIDING SICK BARS ON SHIT BEATS?"

GOT HOLD OF SOME GENERAL MIDI SEQUENCING SOFTWARE, AND USED A PC THAT SHAE BOUGHT IN PAKISTAN (REAL TALK)!!!

NO TRAINING OR NOTHING IT WAS STRAIGHT UP TRIAL & ERROR!!!

THEN A FRIEND NAMED "SCIENCE" INTRODUCED US TO FRUITYLOOPS-3 (IT WAS A DEMO VERSION, U COULDN'T SAVE ANY OF YOUR WORK LOL), GOT HOLD OF A PROPER VERSION AND SINCE THEN WE'VE NEVER LOOKED BACK!!!

ANY1 WHO SAYS FRUITYLOOPS IS WACK.EVIDENTLY NOT BIYATCH!!!!

FONTZ AND SHAE ARE JUST MAKING MUSIC, POWER MOVES AND WEARING ADIDAS!!! ITS MORE THAN A LEAF ITS A MOVEMENT!!! JEEZ!!!



FONTZ PRESENTS: THE GOLDEN YEARS ALBUM "19-80-90's "



As quoted by jay-z and I’m more than convinced that he quoted it from the ‘’forefathers’’ but it truly was TWO unforgettable era’s… the 80’s and 90’s! The golden era, age, years ….whatever! but all I know is it was the beginning, well more a less of a revolution, a culture which had its humble beginnings in the ‘’boogie down’’ Bronx on the blocks of run da frigg down projects courtesy of couple sound man running the technicals, a mic man/mc n 1 of the most significant components to the equation…The Dj…we reknown it HIP HOP!



So what happened?

I would have to say that ‘’HIP HOP’’ lost it’s way yo! With time comes change and things evolve but I will take great confidence in saying that it and I mean HIP HOP nah frigg it…GOOD MUSIC! Changed and Took a turn for the worst.

Maaaaad props to our peoples who took dis innocent culture around the world and built a muilti billion dollar bizniz/empire but daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam with all this comes a price…to sell out the authenticity for …………………………………bwoy mi nuh no wha fi call it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Duh duh duh duh duh duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! ‘’sound the horns for the saviour!!’’ lol nah but on the real tho I’m jus like many people that feel the same bout dat state of music in the 21st century……SWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG!!! I share dis opinion wit a great deal a folks that in RECENT times there we’re two decades that put out craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy classic music……THE 80’S AND 90’S! I MEAN WHA U KNOW ABOUT TALKING BOUT HARDSHIPS OF LIVING IN THE GHETTO ON A PHAT BEAT IN A VERRY ‘’BIRDS N BEE’S/HAPPY GO LUCKY’’ TONE! (80’s) Huh? WHA U KNOW ABOUT SPITTING SIK DOUBLE TIME FLOW WITH FUNKY DREADS IN A VERRRY BRIGHT KARL KANI JEAN SUIT, BIG ASS ARMY BOOTS AND A NOSE RING! HUH?? (90’s) WELL……



Wit dis album im bringing dat flyness bk!! I’m about to put dis ting bk where we originally found it!! The objective is to recreate a double cd (cd1:80’s- cd2:90’s) masterpiece OF ECLECTIC RETRO/MODERN SOUNDS VIA A TIME ZONE RADIO SHOW and incorporate my influences such as reggae, soul, rnb, rare groove and of course hip hop.

suttum goldust like a rare 7inch dat u can pop in to ya cd player, cassestte deck or record player, press play like diddy and put u right bk in those time zones and mek u feel good! U know, wen u heard suttum dat made u say ‘’dats wicked star!’’ or ‘’OMG….DAS MY TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNE!!!!!!!!!!’’ YEAH…DAT!
