May Contain Nuts

John Q Public are a punk rock band from Cardiff, who originally formed way back in 2002 as May Contain Nuts, before changing their name at the start of 2009.



To date they have played around 450 shows including festivals and a tour of Germany, and have played along side many established acts such as The Misfits, Electric Six, Zebrahead, The Damned, Mike Park, Sonic Boom Six and The King Blues.



Known by fans for putting on very fast, energetic and entertaining stage shows, John Q Public never disappoint live and always leave even the most miserable bastard with a smile on their face. Their songs are fast, melodic, extremely catchy and always get the audience dancing.



In mid-2010 the band suffered a massive blow with the departure of long time frontman Sam Holland and guitarist Sam 2k, forcing the band to cancel their summer touring plans and postpone (once again) the recording of their debut album.



Not wanting to let years of hard work go down the drain, founding members Ryan and Nurse set about the difficult task of replacing half the band.



With new members in place, John "New" Public will be exploding back onto the scene in October 2010 with new songs, new tour dates and hopefully soon, a brand new album
