MAXIMUS

MAXIMUS is a Belgian (with Quebecan roots) singer-songwriter on bass & upright bass. His world is inspired by uplifting, honest and genuine emotions. A self-invented and very unique style of songwriting (on bass!) resulted in songs like 'Pornstar Tity', 'Love Supercat Mindy' and 'Good Vibrations', all three became hits on Belgian National Radio 1.



He played opening slots for Novastar, Racoon & Babylon Circus in Belgium, Holland and France. In february 2009, he performed (solo) for 7,000 people at the Lotto Arena, later to be invited as a musical guest at the Humo's Pop Poll in Sportpaleis, Antwerp (attn 15,000 people). Playing 3 times in one year at the legendary Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, a remarkable achievement for a debuting artist. Maximus was invited at the Claudia De Breij-show on Holland's 3FM Radio for several weeks on a row.



The new album MESMERIZE (produced by Maximus drummer Jan Chantrain) will be released early March 2010. Enjoy the new MAXIMUS vibe! Hope to meet you all soon, somewhere down the road !
