Matt Glickstein is a songwriter/composer/pianist born and raised on O'ahu, Hawaii. His inspiration has always been trying to make the world a better place through music. He hopes to accomplish this by writing songs that can help a specific cause or charity. He also would like to license his music in Film and TV in order to reach a larger audience. Music is the universal language, and Matt's songs speak to the soul.

Matt graduated from the University of Redlands in southern California, where he majored in music composition. His work includes pop and rock songs, choral works, soundtracks, a complete musical called Freshmen Follies (performed at the University of Redlands), and a recently completed (2010) solo piano album, Piano Moods. After graduating from Redlands, he lived in Los Angeles and worked with Disney composer Don Grady. Matt worked on the production of the Disney Princess Birthday album (set for release in 2011) and wrote a 30 second cue for the special edition of the Jungle Book DVD. Matt also wrote a song for Dog the Bounty Hunter called Set the Dog Free, which sold over 1,000 copies on iTunes.

Matt is currently collaborating with several writers on various projects, attending songwriters' workshops, and taking online classes with the University of Berklee School of Music. He recently completed the class "Songwriting For Film and TV" through Berklee and hopes to soon have his music placed in that media. Matt and his wife, Kerri currently reside in Lanai City, Hawaii.
