The Graduates are a group comprised of two young individuals determined to exact a defining statement the music industry to date. Christopher Jones and Travis Scott value music in the highest fashion and have the drive nessesary to deliver their voice not just to the city of Houston, Texas; but throughout the United States, more-so the world.

The two began their journey into music by recording melodies from an old boom box Chris had in his house. It wouldn't take long for the youngsters to realize that the sound they had was unique, untapped, & summarily waiting to be dicovered by eager ears. Travis, with his knack for resourcefulness, started knocking down the doors of his fellow neighbors asking for anything from stereo systems, to car speakers. With Travis' home studio set up complete plus Chris' lyrical idea's for the music, the two created a style that shook the foundations of their hometown.

When it comes down to the melodic sound of The Graduates split in half; Chris, with his soulful yet straight forward vocals, delivers a tasteful aproach to the R&B aspect of the group as a whole. His method of music is only complemented by Travis & his "tell it like it is approach". Chris' inate concept to make sure that each verse & chorus tells a story sending a message, creates an overtone of relation for whatever the listener might be going through in their everyday lives.

Combining Hip hop with a charismatic undertone meshed within his stylish yet unrhythmic format of writing, Travis sends a intracate yet reachable message for all listeners around the world young and old. Following his rhyme scheme, Travis' ear for music led him to become adept at sound engineering.

The Graduates will become a force to be reckoned with in the future of music in it's entirety
