DJ MARZ, A seasoned veteran of the Bay Area¹s turntable scene, Marz got his start making pause mixes at the age of 9 and messing with turntables at the age of 12 and was competing seriously in local DMC battles by his early teens. He eventually hooked up with local legends DJ Quest , Dj Eddie Def , DJ Cue and MC Eddie K. of the groundbreaking Bullet Proof Scratch Hamsters/space Travelers and was soon brought into the fold as the youngest member of the renowned turntablist crew. Laid down the blueprint for the Gurp City Collective. Besides releasing the 2000 mix Brain Language on Hip Hop Slam, Marz has produced four break records, toured and recorded with the likes of SoleSides/Quannum duo Latyrx, Gurp City, Joe Dubs, Sacred Hoop, Z- Man, Eddie K and punk heroes the Dwarves.
