Music and Lyrics by Mary Pascoe

Who Brings a Cat to the Disco?

Mary Pascoe's wide range of talents align themselves to all sorts of facets of our daily lives. The odds are good that you have already seen a TV show, movie, or commercial containing a Mary Pascoe appearance.

You may have casually read a few of her articles on the internet or in the newspaper. Maybe you even heard her reading the news, singing, or spinning records on the radio. You may have even passed her singing and playing guitar on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, or at any number of venues across the country.

You may have even heard her voice when you dialed your local hospital, offering you a plethora of options for outpatient services.

This highly energetic entertainer from Battle Creek, Michigan throws herself full force into her work, and it is for this very reason that she can often seem to be in multiple places at once. A member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, this on-camera and voice-over actress honed her craft early in life, singing and tap dancing in regional theatre as a child.

She continued to work nonstop in plays, talent shows-- even a mall fashion show. She trained in gymnastics, competitive cheer, dance, storytelling, broadcasting (named the State Champion by the Michigan Interscholastic Forensic Assocation) and even mime.

At the age of 16, Pascoe headed to Wellesley College with a guitar and a dream, and there she found a principle role in the star-studded film, "Mona Lisa Smile," alongside Julia Roberts, not to mention several starring roles in theatre. She also opened for Jill Sobule and headlined her own concerts, showcasing her songwriting talents as well.

After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Women's Studies a few months after her 20th birthday, the flame-haired songstress cultivated her singer-songwriter act in Boston, while continuing her acting career as well. A short time later, she would pack up her car and drive to Los Angeles to further pursue film and television.

Later theatrical work in Los Angeles would receive positive marks from "LA Weekly" and their "go" stamp of approval. Pascoe has also appeared on FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS, Comedy Central, and many other networks.

Always the self-starter, Pascoe wrote and produced her own 15 track album called "Who Brings a Cat to the Disco?" in 2006, including 3 bonus poems with Pascoe's own special brand of voice-over. Her music is available on iTunes, Rhapsody, CD Baby, Amazon, Target.com, and too many other retailers to list.

She regularly performs all around Los Angeles, including such world famous venues along the Sunset Strip as the Whisky a Go Go, the Keyclub Hollywood, and the Viper Room. One half of the comedic band, the Raging Peanuts, Pascoe shows another side of her talents with satirical songs and cool harmonies. The other half is Cory Pearman, fellow actor/singer/writer and redhead.

The Raging Peanuts grew from their web series, "Rockstars"-- a faux reality show about two zany rockstars living in Los Angeles. They sing original funny songs and are also well known in the San Fernando Valley for doing creative covers of songs like "Forgot About Dre" and, newly, "Tik Tok" by Ke$ha.

Mary Pascoe has also currently set her sights on earning a role on the hit FOX TV Series, "Glee," which will be holding open auditions. She has a blog dedicated to the cause, and will be sharing the actor's process with the world and, in her words, "having the time of my life!"

Who knows what the future may hold? Mary Pascoe's sure looks bright.
