Marston Moor

"Mourning Sun's for us a real musical bend" assert the members of the group. Formed in 2003, Marston Moor are not new on stage. Supported by Fuzz'Yon ( 85 ) that quoted " Marston Moor belongs to this family of young groups which play music with a disconcerting ease ", the trio fan of the Smashing Pumpkins and Chevelle makes their debuts gigs with Kill The Young or Asyl . Recognized for their capacity to ally sound power and bewitching melodies, Marston Moor make in 2006 a first autoproduced disk, "Fading Roses".
2007 is announced as a year of change for the band whose line-up changes, evolves: the trio becomes a quartet! Tom (I Wish) behind drums, and Martin (Symbiotic Stridulations) boards join Geo ( bass) and Ron (guitar / vocals) from the initial Marston Moor. This new line up strengthening and more 'rocky' marks a real musical bend for the group, which leads them on roads supporting bands like Deportivo or Blankass …
In 2008, Marston Moor produces a new demo " Mourning Sun " made between France and Denmark." An evident strong sound coupled with a well channelled vocal power! " quoted François Alaouret (columnist for The Telegram). Indeed, between the 'anthemic' " Missing in here ", and " Before I Love You " , printed by English rock pop, they also dare the second degree with the suggestive title " Porno Machine ". It is indeed a new era for Marston Moor that is announced here, and which does not let us without reaction!
