Marenne’s debut single Pretty White Dress was succesfully released in summer 2007 and the band was formed later the same year. This upcoming album The Past Prelude is the result of the first year working together.



The Past Prelude is melodic and metallic rock. The dark sounds and intense lyrics lead towards light and Marenne’s beautiful voice remains in the air long after the music.



The following musicians have also given their influence for this record: Tuomas Laitinen (acoustic guitar) and backing vocals by Marco Hietala, Tommi Salmela, Jani Hyvärinen, Anssi Stenberg, Petri Kaitamäki and Tuomas Koponen.



The Past Prelude is released via Edel Records Finland on Feb 11, 2009.
