Born the son of a choir director and also a singer, Marques Anthony was creating music before he was able to form complete sentences. At the tender age of three, Marques began to play the drums and from there sprouted into an all around musician; mastering the drums, piano, and organ. Later in life, it would come as no surprise that, when given the option to choose athletics or music, Marques chose to follow his passion - music.



In 2006, Marques Anthony (with help from GodFather Marcus King -manager of Jamie Foxx) decided to take his future into his own hands by moving to Los Angeles, CA. Naturally, his first job was an internship at Foxxhole's Radio Show, and playing in the church. Marques played three instruments for the choir by day, and by night played keyboards in a house band at the Comedy Store (a Los Angeles comedy club). In no time the word began to spread about this young, talented musician and inevitably Hollywood came calling thus leading to a publishing deal with Foxx King Publishing. Marques would co-write the theme song for MTV's G's to Gents.



As a writer and producer for Foxx King, Marques is preparing to take the industry by storm; currently a musician/commentator on The Foxxhole (a Sirius Radio broadcast), he is also vocal producing and writing for Jamie Foxx's upcoming album. Not to be detoured, Marques Anthony has held tight to his dream of performing his own music in his own way. "I want to breathe life back into RnB music." At this rate, the revival of true musicianship in RnB music is soon to come.
